The programme of the 42nd Festival des 3 Continents, « The Home and the World : A Welcome Escape with the 3 Continents », presented free of charge, on-line, between November 20 to 29, has just finished. The Festival invited he audience at the same time every day for a virtual screening. In 10 days, the 14 screenings brought together more than 10,000 spectators, which is a success given the unprecedented nature of the offering.
Once the lockdown had been decreed, the Festival wanted to maintain an artistic offering for the French public, deprived of « non essential » cultural practices, by choosing to present a selection of films which have left their mark on the history of the Festival over the last 10 years, together with two films of the Special Sessions of the 2020 Official Selection.
The Official Selection, for the films which have given their assent, remain accessible to accredited professionals until December 11, on the platform Festival Scope Pro, partner of the Festival.

The Young Jury composed of the Nantais Lise Bello, Brahim Messeguem, Yanis Mondor, Laura Van Roy and Clarisse Wouters, has rewarded Kokoloko by the Mexican filmmaker Gerardo Naranjo. The jury also gave a special mention to the film The Works and Days (of Tayoko Shiojiri in the Shiotani Basin), by Curtis W. Winter and Anders Edström.

Concerning The Works and Days, the Young Jury hightlighted : « its timeless pace capturing the essence of a daily life, for its soothing imagery of simple and almost acetic aesthetics, for the filmmaker’s work on the sound which immerses us in his rural universe, and for his dialogues without extravagence and yet captivating».

The 34th Israel Film Festival in Los Angeles, the largest showcase of Israeli cinema in North America, will be presented exclusively online for the first time this year from December 13th– 27th. Opening Night Film will be Asia, winner of nine Ophir Awards including Best Film, Best Director for Ruthy Pribar, and Best Supporting Actress for Shira Hass, who was nominated for an Emmy Award for her role in Netflix’s Unorthodox. Asia has also been chosen as Israel’s official selection for the International Film Category at the 2021 Academy Awards. This year’s Festival edition will allow audiences to virtually discover the very best of new Israeli cinema and rediscover old gems, including award-winning features, documentaries, past Ophir Award winners as well as Q&As from leading filmmakers and talent from each and every film, announced Meir Fenigstein, founder and executive director of the Israel Film Festival.
The Board of Directors of the Israel Film Festival has selected one of their very own to receive the 2020 IFF Lifetime Achievement Award: Meir Fenigstein. As the Festival’s founder/executive director, and a highly respected member of the Israeli film community (known under his stage name Poogy, the drummer of the legendary Israeli musical rock band, Kaveret / Poogy), it was solely through Fenigstein’s dream, vision, dedication and commitment that the Festival was born and has thrived to bring Israeli cinema to audiences around the world.
“As the world faces enormous disruption and loss, we are humbled at the opportunity to bring the simple pleasure of films and entertainment into people’s lives,” noted Meir Fenigstein. “While theaters are closed, the movies of this year’s Israel Film Festival offer audiences watching at home a chance to escape for a brief time into the wonders of great storytelling and captivating characters, and to recapture some past favorites.”
Sublet, directed and co-written by Eytan Fox, will have the coveted Festival Centerpiece position. This is Mr. Fox’s first English speaking feature length film, starring John Benjamin Hickey (The Good Wife) and Israeli actor Niv Nissim. The Hollywood Reporter called Sublet“a visually seductive love letter to Tel Aviv and its vibrant street life” after its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.
To coincide with Fenigstein’s honor of receiving the IFF Lifetime Achievement Award and his 70th birthday, a very special showing of the Kaveret / Poogy Reunion Concert Film, shot in 2013 at two sold-out performances in Tel Aviv’s Hayarkon Park with over 100,000 concert goers in attendance, will be screened at the Opening Night event on December 13, 2020.
Laila in Haifa, Amos Gitai’s latest feature film which premiered at the 2020 Venice Film Festival in the Official Competition, will close the Festival with a special screening followed by a Q&A with Mr. Gitai, hosted by Richard Peña, former program director of the Film Society of Lincoln Center in New York.
The Festival will also honor beloved actor, producer, director and prankster Yehuda Barkan, who passed away in October at age 75 from complications of the COVID-19 virus, with a screening of his last acting role in Love in Suspenders, a romantic comedy that shows that love comes in many ages. Barkan was a stalwart of classic Israeli comedy films and a master of practical jokes whose penchant for prank calls helped establish his career 55 years ago.
To purchase tickets for all online screenings / Q&As visit www.israelfilmfestival.com starting November 30, 2020.
Ticket prices are as follows: $12 for one film streaming; $40 for a bundle of four separate streaming tickets; $54 for a bundle of six separate streaming tickets; $85 for a bundle of ten separate streaming tickets; $180 for a Festival all access pass to all films and Q&As. Among the highlights for this year’s 34th Israel Film Festival are two U.S. Premieres, eight West Coast Premieres, four Los Angeles Premieres, a sneak preview and encore performances of seven former Ophir Award winners.
All films will include an exclusive pre-recorded Festival interview Q&As with Israel’s most influential filmmakers and talent, each moderated by distinguished Israeli and American journalists:

As an international entertainment industry event, the festival has brought acclaim to both the films and participants and has opened new possibilities for cooperation and co-production between the U.S. and Israeli film and TV industries. Since its inception thirty-four years ago, the festival has created an exciting and artistic platform for engaging diverse audiences with the richness of Israeli life and culture.
For four decades, the Festival has presented more than 1,000 feature films, documentaries, television dramas and short films to nearly one million filmgoers, and brought hundreds of Israeli filmmakers to the U.S. to share their art. Since it was first launched, ARTE has always championed a shared foundation of European cultural values by placing imagination and pluralism at the heart of its project. This European ideal pervades all its programmes and, thanks to digital technology, the channel is now able to share it with more and more Europeans. A genuine cultural policy cannot be the sole preserve of “those in the know”; it only makes sense if it is open to everyone, especially those who have no access to culture or may feel excluded. This is why ARTE is keen to address audiences where they are most likely to be found – on digital networks. The ArteKino festival, launched in 2016, is symbolic of ARTE’s ambition to promote the riches of European arthouse cinema and share them with as many people as possible.
For its fifth edition ArteKino Festival is showing a selection of 10 European films that have been made by young filmmakers, and which are freely available in 10 languages in 45 countries across Europe. Our aim is to create new links between works, their creators and a large audience that is keen to discover new and relevant views on contemporary concerns and themes. In an everchanging landscape, these films, fictions and documentaries offer a lens through which we can see our world, and decipher our link with history.
The ten feature length films, made by creators from ten different countries, pay homage to the cultural and linguistic diversity found across Europe. Our selection highlights new creators and their diverse sources of inspiration, along with how they address geopolitical changes and intimate crises. Being either documentaries or fiction, or blending the borders between the two, these films offer a range of views, from melancholic to cheerful, of a transforming world.
Established by the ArteKino Foundation, the festival has benefited from the support of Europe Media Créative as well as private sponsors.
The ArteKino Foundation also supports feature length projects through the “ArteKino International Prize”, a bursary to help with their development, which has been awarded at a dozen large film festivals. Also, through “ArteKino Selection” a film or series is made freely available on ARTE’s three digital cinemas: artekinofestival.com, arte.tv, and the YouTube channel ARTE Cinéma.

Alice Kremelberg (Orange Is The New Black) stars as the eponymous Iris, and gives an outstanding lead performance as this tortured soul dreadfully awaiting the death of her Aunt Adelaide, played by Mary Looram (Like Father, Braid). As Aunt Adelaide slowly withers away in hospice, Iris continues her day to day routines of working in an antique shop, and scrolling online for connections through an online dating app. However, Iris has an ulterior motive behind her digital search for suitors, and it’s not love. Iris has a hunger, and she needs to feed. On every date she goes on, she sizes her match up and determines their strength of character on a criteria of what she considers basic human decency. And if any of her dates fail to meet her standards, then that’s the end of them. They’re dinner. That’s just how Iris operates.
But complications arise when Iris meets Tom, played by Grant MacDermott (Hustlers, Mr. Robot), at a support group meeting for people dealing with the lingering effects of grief. Tom is a good hearted man coping with crippling trauma. As their chaste relationship develops, Iris is confounded by a debilitating emotional dilemma. She yearns for the love she once lost, but recognizes the potential in having a strong bond with Tom. Unfortunately, her primal nature exposes itself in the heat of lust, causing her deep seated vampirism to emerge and overtake her instincts. So she can never truly express her true feelings to Tom without it resulting in his death. What’s a timeless girl to do in the big city?

"A film that Google does not want you to see - filmfestivals.com Best for Fest"
An eye-opening documentary, The Creepy Line reveals the stunning degree to which society is manipulated by Google and Facebook and blows the lid off the remarkably subtle – hence powerful – manner in which they do it.
The Creepy Line is a title culled from the words of former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, when during a 2010 interview he explained Google’s code of conduct: “The Google policy on a lot of things is to get right up to the creepy line and not cross it.”
However, as Dr. Robert Epstein explains in the film, “Google crosses the creepy line every day”.
Offering first-hand accounts, scientific experiments and detailed analysis, The Creepy Line examines what is at risk when these two tech titans have free reign to utilize the public’s most private and personal data to manipulate society.
There is no question that the “creepy line” is getting ever-creepier, and that the tech giants have crossed it.
Rob Stewart “Conservation is the preservation of human life on earth. And that, above all else, is worth fighting for” Watch Rob Stewart doing what he loved most of all, swimming with sharks, in exclusive footage from his third film, Sharkwater: Extinction.
Sharkwater: Extinction is a follow up to his first two award-winning films, Sharkwater and Revolution. Sharkwater exposed the devastating issue of shark finning, while Revolution brought the destructive effects of Ocean Acidification to light.
Rob taught the world to not fear sharks, through his iconic images of hugging these majestic creatures and free diving with them.

The New York City Documentary film festival (DOC NYC) was held from November 11 – December 9 including an Encore period and the new short list selection. For more than 19 days the, 11th edition of DOC NYC and its new online format served an audience throughout the United States and Puerto Rico which has grown significantly compared to last year’s theatrical edition.
The program had 122 features and 102 shorts from 35 countries which were selected from 2000 productions, including shorts, reflecting a relatively small decline from the 2200 submissions and the selection of 261 productions in 2019. The new streaming format did not significantly impact the provision of productions from filmmakers and distributors. Most sponsors returned and continued their backing of the festival, supporting the shift to the online format and were impressed by the innovative ways in which the festival recreated elements of traditional interactions with audiences at a film festival in the new format. The biggest change for the festival has been the adoption of the new format, but more importantly, reaching for the first time a nationwide audience. As some other festivals like the Human Rights Watch Film Festival, the New York Film Festival and the Asian American International Film Festival have reported, many viewers who streamed 2020 festival programs had attended the festivals before in person and others welcomed the opportunity to explore the programs using digital access and plan to do so again next year. This gives programmers the opportunity to building a national captive digital audience and generates sponsorship interests for major and minor streaming platforms.
DOC NYC attracted more than 38,000 viewers to its streaming platform and more than 250,000 visitors from 189 countries to its website, a significant increase in its website growth. The noted NYC PRO, a professional development program for established and emerging filmmakers presented webinars before the festival. There were some new program initiatives before and during the festival. The pre-festival Road Trip arranged virtual visits with film professional from ten documentary hubs in America. Documentary New Leaders honored 16 industry leaders focusing on diversity. DOC NYC Live featured daily sessions during the festival with more than forty online discussions with film makers, a new festival component which had more than 70,000 viewers from 123 countries.
Among this year’s awards are
Audience Award: La Madrina, The Savage Life of Lorine Padilla, by Raquel Cepeda
Viewfinders Grand Jury Prize: Landsfall, directed/produced by Cecelia Aldarondo & Ines Hofmann Kanna
Metropolis Grand Jury Prize: Five Years North, directed by Zach Ingrasci & Chris temple, produced by Jenna Kelly
There were 2 special jury recognitions and nine awards for shorts.
Majors sponsors of the 2020 edition were A&T, Apple Original Films; Netflix; Warner Media and nine Supporting and Signature Sponsors including National Geographic and Showtime Documentary Films, Bloomberg Philanthropies, NYC’s Mayor Office, Participant; Technicolor PostWorks; Topic Studios

Beginning the first Friday of August, this year Festival of Cinema NYC is planned to take place from August 6th - 15th.Festival of Cinema NYC seeks the best in independent film of all lengths and genres. Whether your film is a drama, comedy, horror, sci-fi, fantasy, documentary, experimental, LGBTQ, animation, etc. - we want to show it! Plus, every filmmaker that submits their film(s) will automatically receive a one-year subscription to Videomaker Digital Magazine, a leading subscription service that focuses on guiding independent filmmakers with online tutorials and publications (a $20 value). Our only criteria is that your film be truly independent and not backed by any of the seven major movie studios. All selected filmmakers get VIP passes that allow entry into our screenings, events and parties.
Because Festival of Cinema NYC was founded by independent filmmakers, we understand the needs and challenges that filmmakers face. Our festival staff is committed to offering filmmakers the opportunities they seek to promote and ultimately have their film seen and sold. Since our inception in 2017, many films have found distribution through our sponsors, with many more being offered distribution deals by visiting distributors. Our festival’s growing reputation of top-notch independent films has consistently attracted more distributors every year, making it a possibility to interact with distributors directly! One of the key components to Festival of Cinema NYC's success, is making sure each filmmaker and their film get the proper attention and publicity that they deserve. Our publicity department works around the clock to ensure that filmmakers get as much coverage in news and local media. Filmmakers at the festival have had their films covered in various news publications around Queens and New York City, including the N.Y. Times, the NY Daily News, The NY Post, The Queens Chronicle, CBSN and NY1 News on Spectrum cable. Attending filmmakers each get a Q&A following their screening, giving them the chance to engage our audience.
Additionally, Festival of Cinema NYC hosts panels and workshops that strongly appeal to filmmakers. Subjects including distribution and production resources, as well as workshops by industry leaders such as Sag-Aftra and Seed & Spark.
Festival of Cinema NYC is a competitive festival that accepts films and media of all lengths, genres and subjects, with awards in 18 categories. Past Jury members have included Anna Garduno, Executive Producer at Netflix; Amy Peters, Emmy award winner; Doug LeClaire, founder of Asbury Shorts USA; and Isil Bagdadi, president of distribution at Cavu Pictures. Winners walk away with an amazing custom statuette as well as prizes being offered from some of our amazing sponsors.
2020 has sure been an unprecedented year unlike any before. Many Arts & Cultural institutions Including movie theaters were impacted by the pandemic caused by Covid-19. As a result, many festivals in 2020 were forced to re-imagine, and restructure their format. Facing new regulations and guidelines set by New York City and the State, Festival of Cinema managed to convert the 2020 festival into a Drive-In Theater, becoming one of only a handful of film festivals around the country to hold a live event. As a film festival created by filmmakers for filmmakers, our goal is to bring your film to the big screen. While 2021 hasn’t guaranteed the opening of theater venues at full capacity, the team at Festival of Cinema NYC promises to continue to work hard in creating an event that filmmakers and the public can attend in person.

The 28thédition of the Festival International du Film Fantastique de Gérardmer, will take place January 27 to 31 2021.
The nonprofit Sundance Institute has unveiled plans for the seven-day 2021 Sundance Film Festival, offered digitally via a custom-designed online platform (festival.sundance.org) alongside drive-ins, independent arthouses, and a network of local community partnerships. The online expression of the Sundance Film Festival will provide global access for storytellers and audiences alike to come together, experience artists new work, connect with one another, and participate in conversation. All films in the program will be available online in the United States, with certain films opting for global availability. The full talks and events program, as well as the New Frontier section for XR and emerging media, will be available globally. The Festival runs January 28 through February 3, 2021.
“Even under these impossible circumstances artists are still finding paths to make bold and vital work in whatever ways they can,” says Tabitha Jackson, in her first year as Festival Director. “So Sundance, as a festival of discovery, will bring that work to its first audiences in whatever ways we can. The core of our Festival in the form of an online platform and socially distanced cinematic experiences is responsive to the pandemic and gives us the opportunity to reach new audiences, safely, where they are. And thanks to a constellation of independent cinema communities across the U.S. we are not putting on our Festival alone. At the heart of all this is a belief in the power of coming together, and the desire to preserve what makes a festival unique -- a collaborative spirit, a collective energy, and a celebration of the art, artists, and ideas that leave us changed.”
“Our Festival footprint has changed this year, but we are excited to bring an incredible community together in new ways to engage with new artists and new stories -- whether they’re joining us for the first year or have been for decades,” said Sundance Institute Executive Director Keri Putnam. “Our ambition is for everyone to come together, safely, wherever they may be, and participate in screenings on our platform at the same time. The Sundance team has consulted with artists, worked with incredible partners, and built a plan to welcome new audiences and capture a true Festival spirit.”
FEATURE FILMS
As at past Sundance Film Festivals, films will premiere throughout the day, with Day One films set to debut Thursday, January 28, at 6 p.m. U.S. Mountain Time. During the 2021 Festival, each of the 70+ feature films will premiere online in a dedicated time slot, followed by a live Q&A. Multiple films will premiere simultaneously roughly every three hours from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. U.S. Mountain Time. This rollout is designed to preserve the energy of a Festival, with an abundance of choices and collective experiences, as audiences can begin the film simultaneously, and participate in the live Q&A which follows (viewers can also begin films any time within three hours of their premiere’s start). All films will return to the platform two days after their premiere for a “second screening,” offered on demand for 24 hours. The platform’s movie player is powered by Shift72 and developed with best-in-industry security and access practices. In a Festival first, the entire 70+-feature lineup on the platform will be closed-captioned on demand, and Q&As will be live-captioned.
SHORT FILM, INDIE SERIES PROGRAMS
The Short Film and Indie Series (formerly Indie Episodic) programs, focused on creative storytelling outside the feature format, will include 50 short films and world premieres of four episodic works. These will be available on demand on the Festival platform for the full length of the Festival.
NEW FRONTIER
Since its launch, the Sundance Film Festival’s New Frontier has served as a showcase for dynamic, innovative work at the crossroads of film, art, and technology -- and 2021 is no exception, with 14 works in the program. For the first time ever, adventurous audiences around the world will be given the chance to engage with the works, the artists, and each other via a bespoke virtual platform, accessible via computer and VR headsets. The New Frontier Gallery hosts the complete slate of live performances, AR, VR, and other emerging media works. Cinema House is the Festival’s fully immersive, big-screen theater, and Film Party is an interactive social space where the entire community of accredited Festivalgoers can safely gather together again. The environment also features interactive tools such as proximity audio and video chat.
SATELLITE SCREENS
Expanding beyond its Utah home, the Festival has created a network of partnerships to bring feature films and customized local programming -- talks, events, artist meet-ups -- to communities across the country. In addition to these Satellite Screen partnerships, the Institute will program screenings at The Ray in Park City and the Rose Bowl and Mission Tiki Drive-Ins in Los Angeles, health and safety guidelines permitting. Each Satellite Screen will create and host their own events, sharing local cultural conversations with broader Festival audiences, with most also screening selections from the 2021 program.
“These partners are the backbone of independent artistic communities across the country, where filmmakers are born and cinephiles are developed,” said Jackson. “We’re entering these partnerships because a healthy ecosystem for artists and audiences requires that independent cinemas across the country survive and thrive.”
Programming details for films at these screens will be available when the program is announced later this month, and these plans will evolve in conjunction with the COVID-19 pandemic health and safety guidelines. Participating U.S. partner organizations and locations include:

THE PLATFORM:
One of the fundamental values of the Festival is gathering: it’s a place where a global community of independent artists can convene for a generative and open exchange of ideas. This year, that will take place on the platform’s Festival Village, a free-to-all space where Satellite Screens, partners, and Festival sponsors will host a wide range of events, programming, and offerings to complement and enrich the official program. The platform’s Main Street will act as both an homage to the iconic Park City thoroughfare and as an extension of the Festival’s core programming, featuring digital partner spaces hosting conversations, musical performances, and more. The Artist Lounge will feature a space for creators to gather for artist programming, as well as for the Festival’s Class of ’21 to network and celebrate at private events.

Tickets and passes for those who want to experience the Festival for the full run, a single day, or a single screening will be available to the general public beginning January 7; further details will be available later this month. For more information, sign up at Festival.Sundance.org.

During this pandemic year, a time of great uncertainty for organizers of cultural events, the Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM) did much more than present its films using an online streaming platform. Running three weeks and divided into 8 thematic sections accompanied by 95 pieces of original content including discussions, interviews, podcasts and round tables, the festival stood out by creating a completely reinvented format designed for present circumstances, complete with creative and diverse promotional concepts and companion content. The renewal’s success was confirmed by audience figures that exceeded expectations, with a record number of passes sold.
In this year’s all-online format, the festival presented 109 films from 45 countries. The RIDM continued to support new talent, parity and diversity. In addition to the successful Soirée de la relèveRadio-Canada and a selection of films from Wapikoni mobile, the festival took advantage of the virtual format to provide more support than ever for short films, with a record 49 on the program. The festival’s commitment to showcasing new talent was also reflected in the impressive 18 first features selected for the festival.
As a leader in parity issues, the RIDM continues to show the way with 52% of filmmakers being women. The diversity of voices remains one of the festival’s strengths, and this year was no exception, including the young filmmakers at the Soirée de la relève, a majority of short films made by members of minority communities, and a special focus on international works by filmmakers who documented their own communities, such as maɬni – towards the ocean, towards the shoreby Sky Hopinka, a look inside the Ho-Chunk culture, or Dark City Beneath the Beatby TT The Artist, about the Baltimore club scene.
Designed for accessibility – both geographical (Quebec-wide) and financial (bundled rather than single tickets) – in 2020 the RIDM reached, for the first time, viewers outside Montreal, who purchased 11-25% of thematic section tickets. Rejecting the traditional single-film model in favour of thematic groupings, the festival reached two more goals. First, the removal of hierarchical distinctions between feature, short and medium-length films gave each work its due, as confirmed by viewing numbers. Second, the festival chose relevant themes that audiences appreciated.
Taking the lead from the Grand Prize for Best National Feature, L’Indien malcommode (Inconvenient Indian) by Michelle Latimer, the most popular sections in the 2020 edition were Seeking Communities, Becoming Oneself and Redefining Intimacy. All three sections explored new ways of thinking about today’s most urgent social and identity questions. Designed to highlight new perspectives, promote creativity in documentary film and spark discussions about major current issues, the 2020 edition of the RIDM not only pursued but improved upon the festival’s longstanding mandate. Because most of the original content created for this year’s festival is designed to have long-term value after the festival, the significant body of RIDM 2020 companion materials will remain relevant in 2021. These materials will accompany RIDM Extended, with some films already available and more to come throughout 2021 thanks to partnerships with La Fabrique culturelle, Festival Scope, Radio-Canada (ICI TOU.TV) and Tënk.
Forum RIDM online
The 16th edition of Forum RIDM was also a success, with more than 300 accredited participants including 127 industry professionals. In an extended 8-day format, this year’s online edition of Forum RIDM overcame several obstacles to provide practical strategic tools. Through the Forum’s 16 activities – workshops, discussions and numerous organized and informal networking activities – participants had the opportunity to hone their skills and expand their knowledge.
Forum RIDM 2020’s all-online program focused on accessibility and inclusiveness in the industry. With small-group and one-on-one activities, the Création Plurielle series presented funding and writing workshops for women, with the financial support of the Bell Fund. The Funds and Experts round tables brought together people working in every part of the industry. With the support of the Canada Council for the Arts and DOC Québec, up-and-coming professionals received personalized guidance to help them make the most of the Forum.
Presented by the Alliance des producteurs francophones du Canada (APFC), Forum RIDM’s centrepiece, the One-on-One, welcomed 72 industry representatives from 13 countries and 66 participants for a total of 592 online business meetings. New talent was also a focus this year with four forms of support offered to francophone and anglophone filmmakers through the 7th edition of the Talent Lab, presented by NETFLIX. For the first time, FranC Doc awarded a project development grant to an emerging filmmaker from a remote area. A total of $31,000 in grants and support were awarded at Forum RIDM 2020.
The 16th edition of Forum RIDM was a clear success. The participants were eager to contribute, industry experts and representatives shared their knowledge freely, and our many partners embraced the new, dynamic and exciting online format.
Thanks to the RIDM and Forum RIDM’s partners
At a time when festivals are facing enormous challenges, the RIDM wishes to express its deepest gratitude to its partners for their exceptional support. It is a sign of trust and a testament to the resilience of our cultural communities and institutions. They made it possible to exceed the festival’s goals for its 23rd edition. Thanks to the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications, SODEC, the Secrétariat à la région métropolitaine, the Canada Council for the Arts, Ville de Montréal, Telefilm Canada, the Conseil des arts de Montréal, the Consulate General of France in Quebec, Bell Media, Canal D, the Canada Media Fund, Télé-Québec, CSN, TV5, Radio-Canada, Post-Moderne, the Société civile des auteurs multimédia (SCAM), Studios Saint-Antoine, PRIM, BDO, the Cinémathèque québécoise and Chop Chop studio.
Forum RIDM wishes to thank its institutional and primary partners, who made this 16th edition possible: Société de développement des entreprises culturelles (SODEC), Telefilm Canada, the Canada Council for the Arts, Canadian Heritage, Ville de Montréal, Conseil des arts de Montréal, NETFLIX, Bell Fund, Canada Media Fund, Canal D, Office national du film du Canada and the National Film Board of Canada.

An office complex wishes for a love story before demolition. It chooses the lonely misfits for this story; those who go through security rounds at night, scrub toilets, experiment with recipes or rehearse their final speech. A poetic and twisted kaleidoscope that centers around desire, security and melodious noises which move through the entire fabric of the building.
