KOREAN FILM FESTIVAL IN AUSTRALIA RETURNS WITH FREE VIRTUAL EDITION THIS OCTOBER
The Korean Film Festival in Australia (KOFFIA) returns for its 11th year from 29 October – 5 November, presenting a dynamic and FREE virtual program of cinematic gems to audiences across Australia.
Showcasing a kaleidoscopic selection of films direct from Korea’s booming film industry - Hallyuwood, the program will feature the very best in contemporary Korean cinema.
Presented by the Korean Cultural Centre Australia, KOFFIA brings the wonder of Korean culture down under. From award-winning dramas to gripping thrillers, resplendent rom-coms and breathtaking period pieces, The Festival presents an eclectic program from the hottest Korean filmmakers.
“This year’s free virtual Festival presents an exciting opportunity for us to introduce new audiences across Australia to the immersive world of Korean cinema for the very first time,” said KOFFIA Artistic Director, David Park.
KOFFIA is a cinematic experience for people of all tastes, ages and cultural backgrounds. Every film presented at the Festival screens with English subtitles.
