This was announced by Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the International Chicldren’s Television Festival “Dytiatko”, Chairman of Kharkiv Regional Council, Sergii Chernov, during press conference. The closing ceremony will take place on September 28.
Talking about the course of preparation of the festival being held with the aim of development of children’s television, raising professional level of television aiming at children’s audience, as well as at support to children’s creative studios, Sergii Chernov noted that the number of its participants grows every year.
In 2013, the Organizing Committee received applications from 103 participants who sent 276 works. Last year, 205 works from 84 participants took part in the contest program.
A majority of participants in this year’s festival are studios from Ukraine, there are 72 of them. Entries were also sent in from Russia, Byelorussia, Bulgaria, and Moldova.
