The Fort Lauderdale Int'l Film Festival Lauderdale International Film Festival announced their dates at their annual beach soiree on the Croisette last night, their dates and plans for their 28th annual event, touted as the longest film fest in the world. FLIFF will run October 18 - November 11 in Fort Lauderdale Int'l Film Festival Lauderdale, Hollywood, Sunrise, Weston and Pompano Beach. The host hotel is the Riverside on trendy Las Olas and the Official Airline is JetBlue.
FLIFF On-Location also take the show to Grand Bahama Island sailing aboard the Bahamas Celebration from Palm Beach October 30th and returning via BahamasAir on November 3. Each filmmaker gets their own cabin for the overnight voyage and then is lodged in suites at Pelican Bay Resort for the four night fest. The theme this year is Junkanoo, with screenings taking place outdoor on the beach on the 31st as well as inside four screening rooms Nov 1 - 3 at Pelican Bay.
FLIFF on-Location also presents at Daytona Beach (Nov 8 - 11) and Saint Augustine (Jan 16 - 19, 2014).
