The 52nd New York Film Festival 2014 (NYFF52) Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), press conference with director Alejandro G. Iñárritu, cast members actor Michael Keaton, Academy Award nominated supporting actor Edward Norton, actor/stand-up comedian Zach Galifianakis, English actress Andrea Riseborough, Academy Award nominated actress Amy Ryan, actress/model Emma Stone and British actress Naomi Watts moderated by director of programming/selection committee chair Kent Jones, Film Society of Lincoln Center, held at AMC Lincoln Square commenced Saturday, October 11, 2014. Questions posed to director Iñárritu and cast members included "Tell us about your experience as an actor/actress on stage and how it translated into this role; what was the technical challenge in making the film; what was one of the most difficult part in playing this character; what was your role each of you in this theater person; how do you translate that theater experience, your history into doing it here in the film; what the film mean?"
