The mission of the non-profit, Idaho Horror Film Festival is to shine a spotlight on Idaho’s burgeoning film making community while showcasing the very latest in horror films from around the globe. We will be accepting films in five categories; Feature Length, Animated, Shorts, Foreign and the “locals only” classification of Spud and Guts. This category is a no fee contest designed to promote our native filmmakers. The Idaho Horror Film Festival will become the launch pad for Idaho filmmakers.
The Idaho Horror film Festival is pleased to welcome h48, Boise Film Underground and Boise Creative and Improvised Music Festival as featured guests of our inaugural year. Each of these organizations will have programs during the run of the festival.
The very talented Sean Dahlman is composing an original score to the 1926 classic, Faust to be shown at the Egyptian with live accompaniment.
Our festival line-up is subject to change, as we are still busy curating.
