Discover the Annecy poster for 2014
"I wanted to pay tribute to stop motion in creating this poster as the technique is in the spotlight at this year’s Festival.
It also has a very personal significance, as my first short, made in stop motion, was rewarded with the Junior Jury Award at Annecy exactly ten years ago in 2004.
It’s the layout of Annecy, situated between lake and mountains, that inspired the idea of the Capricorn, this fabulous half goat, half fish animal that originates in ancient Mesopotamia where it was considered, by those that imagined it, as a sort of guardian spirit.
One way of putting Annecy 2014 under the best possible auspices!"
