Honorary Guest: Susanne Bier
We are proud to present the multiple award winning Danish director and screenwriter Susanne Bier as Honorary Guest at TV Drama Vision 2021.
Susanne Bier is one of the world’s most in-demand directors, continually breaking down barriers to tell thought-provoking and entertaining stories across feature films and TV series. She was famously the first female director to win an Academy Award, a Golden Globe and an Emmy. In this keynote interview, Bier will talk about the lessons learned in her fascinating three-decade career; how she has successfully navigated between her Danish language films such as After the Wedding and In a Better World and English language TV hits such as The Night Manager, The Undoing and Bird Box. Bier will also share her advice for how creators can adapt to the changing content world while staying true to their own creative vision.
In conversation with journalist Wendy Mitchell.

With few options available, the International community decides to resettle the entire Icelandic population on Croatian islands to preserve their culture and identity, until they can return to their homeland. The two nations — one a progressive Northern united front, the other a stagnant, stubborn Southern breed — clash over social values, religion, politics and climate, while attempting to find common ground and co–exist in this new society. |
