The eighteenth edition of the Ischia Film Festival is taking place with a hybrid modality: partly in presence, in the wonderful setting of the Aragonese Castle and partly online with 70 audiovisual works being screened on the website www.ischiafilmfestivalonline.it.
Started on Saturday, June 27th, the festival is ending on the upcoming July 4th, by exploring the bond between cinema and location, according to the fair’s format.
The festival keeps following its path, long-time bound to cinematographic works as an expression of the cultural identity of our territories, is hosting the 18th International Movie Tourism Convention
organized with the support of the Campania RegionFilm Commission, which is being held online on Friday, July 3, at 10 am (Italian Time), with the participation of leading international representatives of the Film-Induced Tourism phenomenon (Anica, Dgc, ItalyForMovies and the film commissions of Spain, Austria, England, Marche and Campania among others).
This edition’s topic is "Future scenarios for the audiovisual industry and movie-induced tourism in a post-COVID world".

The convention is being supported by the simultaneous interpretation of English/Italian and Italian/English.
Within 9 am of July 3rd we will be sending the Zoom credentials to attend the convention.
Ischia Film Festival is held under the High Patronage of the European Parliament, with the appointment of the Medal from the President of the Italian Republic, with the contribution of the Campania Region (Directorate of cultural and touristic policies) and the General Cinema Direction of the MiBACT.
