Welcome to Cannes first ever virtual Market!
THE SHOW MUST GO ON...LINE
We are happy to share this guide to using the Marché du Film Online
The Marché du Film Online is open! Log in now to get familiar with the platform and make sure it works properly in your environment before the official opening next week on Monday 22. Questions may arise while navigating the new platform. We're here to guide you. Our help desk is operative from today until Friday 26 to answer your questions.
Choose your timezone
Conferences and screenings are displayed in your local time, hence the importance of selecting the right time zone. If a conference starts at 10:00, it will start at that exact time in your country.
Access Match&Meet (by Talque)
You can open Match&Meet (by Talque) on your desktop (recommended) or on your mobile (iOS and Android). If you choose to use the app, download it by searching Cinando Match&Meet in your store; do not download the "Talque" app - if you already installed it, you must remove the app before using Match&Meet. Activate your account now with your Cinando login. When registering, please make sure to answer all the questions to create your profile and click on the Get Started button. Once you are connected, choose the Marché du Film Online network (top left corner) to start organizing chat and video meetings and access conferences.
Browse the full list of participants at the Marché du Film Online
Use Cinando for the full list of participants. Participants with whom you can chat or request video meetings can be found in the Network menu in the Match&Meet (by Talque) website or app. Your "Best matches" are the participants who best match your interests and goals.
Organize a meeting with a participant on Match&Meet (by Talque)
You can "Chat" or "Meet" with your "Best matches" by using the buttons on their profile pictures. The "Chat" button opens a chat window and the "Meet" button suggests a 1:1 video call. "Participants" shows only participants who have activated their Match&Meet (by Talque) account and filled their profile.
Check the full screening schedule
The screening schedule is available on Cinando (under the Cannes tab) and in your Pocket Guide or in the Daily Screening Programs in your Welcome Bag.
Watch films
You can access the screenings and watch films on the Cinema Page of the Marché du Film Online. You do not need to register for a screening. However, some screenings are reserved to certain participants (Buyers only, etc.). You might not be able to access it if you do not meet the criteria (you can check your profile under your name, at the top right corner of the website). Please note that for most screenings you might be able to request an invitation from the sales agents. You can find more information in the Films & Conference tutorial available in your Welcome Bag.
Find the event schedule
You will find the conference schedule in your Welcome Bag on the Marché du Film Online and under Schedule at the top menu. Conferences currently playing and upcoming conferences can also be seen on the homepage of the website. The schedule is available as well on Match&Meet (by Talque) in the Schedule tab.
Attend conferences and events
Conferences are accessible on the Marché du Film Online on the Conference page under the Program tab or directly on each program's page. You can also access the conferences and events from Match&Meet (by Talque) under the Schedule tab. Click on "attend" to confirm your participation and add it to your calendar. Most of the events are programmed between 9:00 and 20:00 (UTC+2). They will always be shown in your local time (beware as the Conference PDF in your Welcome Bag shows only Paris time UTC+2). Some conferences will be accessible on replay. For some conferences and panels, you will be able to converse and write questions during the event using a Q&A box.
No need to register for events, conferences or workshops
Most events are open to all registered participants. If an event mentions "Pre-registration required", a link to register will be displayed in the description.
