The Coronavirus Covid–19 emergency is bringing Italy, Europe and the world to its knees. In this situation of home constraint, cinema may become not only an opportunity for commitment and distraction but the opportunity to bring everyone closer to each other, creating new opportunities for discussion and opinion, even if from the home sofa.
With this spirit was born the Stay at Home (coronavirus + emergency) Film Festival, offering a large audience the opportunity to view and reward the best independent film productions today in distribution, doing it comfortably from home.
The Festival includes the films projection, according to a precise calendar, through a dedicated Facebook page and a dedicated Instagram profile.
For films not in Italian language, Italian subtitles are required.
Awards & Prizes
The festival can’t actually grant cash prizes. For this reason, no fee is required.

The winners, one for each section, will receive a diploma or plaque as a prize. The awards ceremony will most likely be held in Caserta (Italy) on October 31st 2020. The effective organization will depend on the end of the covid-19 coronavirus emergency.
Rules & Terms
1. the festival
The ‘Stay at Home (coronavirus + emergency) Film Festival’ is organized by the Comitato Regionale della Campania di ASI (Caserta, Italy) together with the Liceo Classico ‘Pietro Giannone’ (classical high school in Caserta, Italy) and Sly Production s.r.l. (film production company).
Participation at the Festival is free of charge and consists of a video, in its broadest sense (fiction, documentary and animation films), which critically follows the dictates of good cinema and morality.

The Award is divided into the following categories:
– Fiction feature film (> 40 minutes)
– Documentary feature film (> 40 minutes)
– Animated feature film (> 40 minutes)
– Fiction short film (max 40 minutes)
– Documentary short film (max 40 minutes)
– Animated short film (max 40 minutes)
Special category
– Home made during coronavirus emergency short film (40 minutes max)
Special prizes:

– Best sport documentary
Audience Awards:
– Feature film audience award
– Short film audience award
3. video duration
Films longer than 40 minutes can participate in the ‘feature’ section. Individual films within 40 minutes are classified as ‘short films’.
4. participants
Each work must be accompanied by the personal data and telephone number of the author or authors.
Screening via streaming which will take place according to a specific calendar and needs to be expressly authorized.
5. deadlines & screenings
It is possible to send film for the Festival from March 23rd 2020 until April 23rd 2020. The online screenings will be held from May 4th to 10th 2020 through a dedicated Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/sahfforg) and a dedicated Instagram profile (https://www.instagram.com/sahfforg/).
6. jury
The winners will be decided by a jury of high scientific value, made up of film professionals, journalists, communication, education and research professionals. The jury operates independently, his evaluations are unquestionables.
A special scientific jury will be prepared for the special prizes.
Audience prizes will be awarded through online voting.
7. rights
The materials sent will remain in the Festival archives. Participation in the competition does not represent transfer to the Festival of the rights of the works but authorizes the organization to use the films free of charge for promotional and educational purposes.
8. prizes & award ceremony
