The 14th International Film Festival Kino Otok – Isola Cinema will be held tonight at the Manzioli open-air cinema. While hiding from the rain at the House of Culture, Marco Piccareda, author of Città Giardino, welcomed the audience with the sentence: "This is not a festival, but a warm embrace."
Tonight we will bid farewell from the 14th warm embrace of films with the City of the Sun by Rati Oneli, that among the ruins of an almost abandoned mining town in Georgia, directs a glimpse into the lives, dreams and fates of unusal heroes. The final film will be introduced by the short film Ships Still Don't Come Ashore by Ivan Ramljak. Before that, the large screens of Isola will gleam through the last festival day. |
