Greenwich International Film Festival announced today a special celebration of actor, director, producer, activist Tony Goldwyn’s artistic and philanthropic endeavors, Spotlight On: Tony Goldwyn, to benefit Americares. Spotlight On: Tony Goldwyn will be an hour-long conversation with Goldwyn about his career, the balance between work and personal life and his philanthropic activity, specifically his involvement with Americares. The event, sponsored by the Connecticut Office of Film, Television and Digital Media will be held June 2, 2018 at the Cole Auditorium in Greenwich, CT.
“I have been active with Americares for over 15 years and have seen firsthand its positive impact on families affected by poverty or disaster all over the world,” Goldwyn said. “This organization has my profound admiration and my trust. I am excited Greenwich International Film Festival is giving me the opportunity to share with others the incredible work Americares is doing to make struggling communities healthier and more prosperous.”
Americares President and CEO Michael J. Nyenhuis said his organization is honored to be selected as a Greenwich International Film Festival charity partner for the first time.
