Founded in 1998 UNAFF (United Nations Association Film Festival) uses the power of documentary film to create a community forum for discovery and dialogue about different cultures, local and global issues & solutions on aspects of the Sustainable Development Goals. UNAFF was originally conceived to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Over the years UNAFF has screened some of the most influential documentaries, including 7 that won Academy Awards and 30 that were nominated.
The festival will run from October 19th to the 29th and this year’s theme RESPECT continues our two decades long celebration of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights with the reminder that it applies to everyone.
