MONO NO AWARE to invite you to MONO X our annual exhibition of expanded cinema arts. This has been a busy year for us with 12 of our former students highlighted in Whitney's Dreamlands exhibition, our own 10th anniversary and obtaining our official 501c3 status.
This year we are celebrating our 10th anniversary with A CITY WIDE FILM FESTIVAL OF CINEMA ARTS! Last year we presented the work of 33 artists to an audience of 900 at MONO IX, expanded cinema, installation and sculpture. We planned 21 nights in 3 boroughs presenting the work of 150 filmmakers to an audience of 5,000+ and I'd love to invite you to the remaining 5 nights including our traditional 2-night celebration December 2nd & 3rd along with our special VIP festival reception. Nov 29 Tuesday @ BRIC Media Arts Center, Brooklyn - MONO MADE A highlights program of Super 8mm and 16mm films made through MONO workshops or with the support of MONO over the last 10 years. First film screening on film ever at BRIC. Free to attend.
