To celebrate the russian presence in Cannes this year, the country's representatives organised a succesful champagne reception at the Film Market gathering media and market professionals to speak about Russian cinema and its new horisons. One of the biggest moments for Russian cinema this year in Cannes is the film "Uchenik (Student)" by Kirill Serebrennikov, part of this year's Un Certain Regard official selection.
