Chelsea Film Festival® Celebrates WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH

 The Chelsea Film Festival KINO & VINO Series® in partnership with Bow Tie Cinemas Chelsea celebrates Women's History Month on Monday, March 14th at 7PM.

The upcoming event will present the feature film SOLITARY (NY Premiere at CFF 2015) written, produced and edited by 3 Women, one being transgender (Katharine Lee McEwan, Sarina Taylor, Mari Walker). SOLITARY has already won 8 Best Picture Awards and 3 Best Director Awards across the world.
 

Kino & Vino Series® is a refreshing & sexy networking event taking place every 2nd Monday. Get ready for some exciting schmoozing while sipping French wine, eating fine cheeses, and conclude the night at a secret lounge location in NYC (for VIP Tickets holders only). Event included in the Inaugural HeForShe Arts Week Calendar.

Sasha Krane trained from an early age as a Method actor in New York and developed a passion for theater and film. Krane is the nephew of legendary acting teacher Lee Strasberg. Krane moved to Los Angeles, began writing and directing stage plays. In addition to writing and directing, Sasha is the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute’s resident director, where he teaches acting for film and television.

 

7pm - Screening | 9pm - Q&A with Sasha Krane (Director) and Katharine Lee McEwan (Lead Actress/Writer/Producer), moderated by Actress Margaret Ladd (from LAByrinth Theater Company).
9.30pm - Red Carpet + Private Cocktail | 11pm - Private After-Party at Secret Location
