International Competition, Main Award, Sign Award, Night Award: The festival presents three competition programs : Shorts, Documentaries and Cinema in Trangression, prefering films treating emerging and significant themes in an original way, films which don't avoid ambiguity and complexity, films, which sometimes stay enigmatic, keeping the mind are moving, exceptional films of all kinds of artistical expressions open for esthetical innovation, shortly films reflecting the perturbing strangeness of the modern world in a complex way. The section "Cinéma in Transgression" offers middle or feature lengh films out of norm and order, between fiction and documentary, characterised by complex audio-visual languages, unpredictable associations based on unconcient, metaphorical and metonymical proceedings. In this way these films can express the complexity of reality.

International Competition Documentry : We prefer documentaries which succeed in representing the complexity of reality and discover in a new way its sensible and perturbing aspects on the same time accentuating the ambivalent and enigmatic status of reality in avoiding sterotypes and simplifing conclusions. An international jury overview the sections of films.

Program Focus : The Focus programs offer films from special countries and regions. This section intends to discover and explore different spaces and cultures with the aim to understand and represent the specific regional, political and social circumstances, as the emotional and intellectual spécificities of a special region or country. We prefer films, which refuse, in form and expression, sterotypical ways of reality restituition. This refuse is an act of resistance against the actual "globalisation", which inclins to impose one dominating model of culture and habitutes. This year, betwen others, we present Focus programs concerning Argentina, Finland, Norway, Portugal, Germany, Japan, Philippines, Georgia, Armenia and a special program Films of the Sami Culture.

Special Program : The Winnipeg Film Group (Canada): The Winnipeg Film Group produces some of Canada's most original cinema. Transgressive, abstract and surreal, these artists explore the manic energy and melancholic reflections from a frozen city that dreams a remarkable cinema.

French Touch : A program French films, conceptual strenght, playful innovation, complexity and (much) desire/s are designing the "French Touch".

Synthox : Syntox : the program of Sound-Image Interferences


Night Program, Pointing Out : The programs promote new and strange views, new talents and complex visions from all over the world, treating provocant, sensible and urgent subjects in a innovative and personal style. ...
