This silver screen festival organised by Thailand’s Ministry of Culture will allow guests and cinemagoers to enjoy 7 fascinating Thai films at one of the UK’s biggest showcases for films—BAFTA. The films will be very convincing proofs that Thailand has truly become a hotspot of film creativity in Asia. As the national organisation responsible for all kinds of arts and creativity, we honour those artists who, through their creative work, actively increase awareness, provide multiple viewpoints, address complex social issues, and brilliantly strengthen ties between international audiences. At Thai Film Festival, you can come together with film audiences, filmmakers, writers, directors, producers, actors and composers to create new opportunities, develop tools for success and forge new alliances within the international film and entertainment industry.
The festival will allow cinemagoers to enjoy seven award-winning Thai films that showcase the country’s flourishing film industry and vibrant culture. Each film has been carefully handpicked to show different styles of Thai filmography.
