CRAIC GAY & LESBAN FILM FESTIVAL
The 3rd annual Craic Gay & Lesbian Film Festival (CGLFF) in partnership with the Irish Arts Center is scheduled for Friday, June 21st. at the Irish Arts Center (553 W. 51st) during PRIDE week in Manhattan. This year CGLFF is collaborating with the GAZE Film Festival. Gaze now in its twenty-first year, is Ireland's premier LGBT film festival. The CGLFF is a one-night festival of films by Irish gay and lesbian filmmakers based in the New York City area as well as award winning short films from Ireland. The program will include a combination of short documentaries and live action comedy shorts.
The program of films will run from 7:00-8:30pm. The event will end with a reception from 8:30-10:30pm with complimentary Tullamore Dew and PBR will be served.
Founded in 1998 the CRAIC Festival annually presents cinema and music that has a Celtic connection to the New York City and tri-state region. “We are delighted to be collaborating with Gaze and the Irish Arts Center in bringing the best of Irish film to New York, we’re delighted to see CGLFF expand in the right direction” says Terence Mulligan, Director of The Craic.
